Her consultative approach to assisting customers, coupled with strong merchandising skills makes her a valuable resource for both our customers as well as our team. Headquartered in the Seattle area, she enjoys spending time with her husband and spoiling her Jack Russel mix HerShe.

Bill Beard – I grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University. Been in the Pet Industry for the past 20 years. Married with a teenage daughter and a cat named Jelly Bean.

Mark Mount, our Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-West was raised in Washington, IL. That is where he met his high school sweetheart and has been married for 28 years. They have raised a family with a daughter who just graduated from Nursing School and a son in his 3rd year of construction engineering. Still at home is their spoiled 10-year-old Vizsla named Mindy who now gets all the attention. Mark has over 18 years of experience in the pet food industry working for 3 manufacturers and has many relationships and friends with retail owners and employees. Hobbies include cruising in his convertible Mustang and riding on his Harley Davidson on the weekends with friends.

Lisa Reyes, Mid-West and SE Regional Manager – I started in the pet industry more than 20+ years ago holding positions with both distributors and manufacturers throughout my career. I am married to a great guy of 32 years, and we have 2 grown children, who we could not be more proud of. We have 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, Zoey and Stella, who rule the roost now. I spend my free time bird-watching, working in my English flower garden, and antiquing. I consider this industry to have some of the best people to work with and work for and looking forward to my new role at Northwest Naturals.

Melissa Bateman resides in Dallas Texas covering the South Central region for NWN. She has been in the market for 6+ years bringing 20+ years of industry experience.

Kevin Caldwell

Northeast Region

Starting in the pet food industry in 2007, Kevin has a wide range of experiences with different foods, products, sales techniques, and building great relationships with retailers and various pet-related organizations. He and his wife of 18 years, Amy, have two teenage children, and completing their family are Banner and Noel their German Shepherds. Playing golf and hanging with his “pack” at sporting events and horse shows is how Kevin enjoys his leisure time.

Jake Hewson

Jake Hewson resides just outside of Philadelphia, married to his college sweetheart Kelly of more than 25 years and has two college aged sons Riley and Quinn. His long tenure as a Boy Scout leader helped both boys reach the highest rank of Eagle Scout and when he’s not working for the best raw pet food company in the industry, you can find him fishing, camping or working on his vehicles. His four legged kids are “Farley” the olde English bulldog and “Stanley” the cat. With more than 15 years of retail experience and 10 additional years in the pet industry he’s ready to support your store’s top line growth and be your trusted business adviser.

Amy Snell

Director of Sales & Marketing

Amy began her pet industry career 15 years ago as a distributor rep in the Pacific Northwest. Loving the industry, she never looked back, joining Northwest Naturals in early 2021. She has always had a passion for pets and loves promoting nutrition. She resides in the Vancouver WA area with her 3 cats; Wolf, Gaylord Focker, and Big Kenny.
